History
The Dogo is revered for its ability to navigate this country’s diverse terrain. There is no pooch with a larger family tree in history. In the 1920s Antonio Norris Martinez wished to create a versatile canine. They started with the now extinct fighting dog of Cordoba and added the Pointer, the boxer, the Great Dane, the bull terrier, bulldog, the Irish Wolfhound, Great Pyrenees, and a Spanish mastiff. It took 25 years, but in the end, they had a dog that was very majestic and super powerful.
